Yoga Therapy
Beth has been studying yoga since 2005. She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and Yoga Alliance. She is currently studying for her 800 hour Professional Yoga Therapist (PYT) by completing the first in the nation Masters of Science degree in Yoga Therapy through Maryland University of Integrative Health under the guidance of Doug Keller and Mary Partlow Lauttamaus. She is also studying Thai Yoga Therapy through Pranakriya Yoga. She completed Her ERYT-200 certificate with Elizabeth Rogers of Atlanta Yoga, her RYT-500 certification under the guidance of Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center and has over 1900 hours of teaching experience. She was the first Yoga teacher in Georgia to grandfather into the Registered Children's Yoga Teacher - RCYT program. She is also certified in Radiant Child children's yoga (RYCP-2), Prenatal Yoga, restorative yoga, Yin Yoga and Senior yoga. She is also a member of Storytime Yoga's League of Yogic Storytellers. She has a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Education and Human Development. Beth is a Reiki Master of the Usui lineage having received her master attunement from Merritt Maloof. Beth is a member of the Sound Healers Association and studied under the direction of Jonathan Goldman. Beth uses tuning forks and music in most of her classes. Beth was a licensed Brain Gym® Instructor. Brain Gym® is Educational Kinesiology designed to help individuals enhance living and learning through movement. She has also studied with Ranjani Cobo, Gina Minyard, Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Sydney Solis, Paul Dennison, Cora Wen, Leslie Kaminoff, Doug Keller, Doug Swenson, Joe Taft, John Immel, Wendy Gilliland, Libby Hinsley, David Keil, Shala Worsley, Ian Boccio, Michael Johnson, Marlysa Sullivan, Stacie Smith, and William Hufschmidt. She teaches yoga to children as well as adults, incorporating Thai Yoga Therapy, Brain Gym®, Reiki and Sound Healing into her teaching. She is available for Healing Sessions that combine Reiki with sound healing, meditation and yoga. Beth is a founding member of Yoga 4 Rome and the owner of the Healing Arts Center of Rome.
