Yoga Rome GA
Beth Novian Hughes' diverse background makes it very easy for her to meet her client's needs whatever they may be: Physical or Emotional. Stress is often reflected in the human body; yoga therapy examines the whole person to find not only the immediate pain/issue but the true source. Beth particularly loves working with the breath to both assess the physical body and lower stress in her clients, and with meditation, specifically iRest (r), to aid in processing issues. She can help with chronic pain, injuries, diseases such as cancer, diabetes, scoliosis, and heart disease to bring health and healing to you.
Beth has been studying yoga since 2005, is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and Yoga Alliance Registry. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT having completed her second Masters of Science degree in Yoga Therapy through Maryland University of Integrative Health and is an iRest Certified Teacher of Meditation. She has over 2000 hours of therapeutic experience qualifying her for Yoga Alliance's highest designation eRYT500. Additionally, Beth is a PhD candidate in Health Science: Exercise and Sport Science to be completed in 2025. Beth is a Board-Certified Tai Chi Instructor with Tai Chi for Health in Tai Chi for Arthritis, Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine. Beth is a Reiki Master (healing touch), Certified in Thai Massage, was a member of the Sound Healers Association and was a licensed Brain Gym® Instructor (educational kinesiology).
